Takashi ‘Taka’ Imai  is one of our greatest ever left midfielders. Taka learned his craft the hard way, spending his formative years away from his native Japan as a young football scholar in England on trial with teams such as QPR.  Taka has pace, power, courage and a mean left foot, striking the ball as sweetly as David Beckham.
