Yasser’s power, speed and skill in advanced positions is very reminiscent of Cristiano Ronaldo in his youth. Dazzling his way past opponents before unleashing strikes at goal, Yasser made a big impact for the BFC Vagabonds in the 2019/2020 season before being struck down by a cruel, long term injury. We hope that knee of yours is getting better now Yasser and we’ll see you on the pitch again soon. BFC would also like to take this opportunity to say how proud we are to include Yasser as one of our alumnis: Hailing from the once beautiful but now, tragically, war torn Syria, he is one of only six Syrians to have been granted refugee status in Japan. Keep an eye out for him on TV; Yasser now works as an actor and model.
