Joining a triumphant TML Championship winning BFC in 2008, Musaki (Saco) Sakai’s introduction to the club sadly coincided with a downfall in the club’s fortunes. We haven’t won the league since! Nevertheless, this rather unfortunate fact paints an entirely unfair picture of Saco’s enormous contribution to the club. Well-liked by all, Saco is an incredibly brave, tenacious and committed defender, who paradocially, also possesses the calm, reassuring and gentle nature of a first grade primary shcool teacher. This combination of qualities make him a superb player and the ideal club member. Havign said that, he did once play for TML rivals Panthers. We’ll let him off.
