‘The man with the plucked eyebrows’, silky smooth touches on the ball that leave defenders stranded. Shines at 5 a side futsal but also nets his fair share of goals on the big pitch. BFC Hall of Famer Jon Day is one of our most famous footballing sons. Not only a founding partner of Footy Japan and the British Football Academy, but also a brilliant player in his own right, Jon has been bursting nets in the Tokyo’s finest football fix since the TML was established in 2004. Jon also captained the side to league triumph in the 2006/7 season.
