Promising Start
BFC Tokyo started strong, taking the lead in the first half through Yoh’s well-placed right-footed shot from the left side into the far corner. BFC continued to look for a second but struggled to maintain control on the scrappy, dirt pitch, making it difficult to keep the game on the ground.
2nd Half Misery
The second half saw BFC lose their grip on possession, giving the ball away in dangerous areas. King George capitalized, scoring early after the break before quickly adding another to turn the game around. BFC pushed forward in search of an equalizer but left themselves exposed, allowing King George to seal the match with a third goal.
Final Thoughts
A tough lesson for BFC Tokyo, who will need to improve their ability to grind out results and stay compact to remain competitive.
