BFC welcomes Gitahi back to Tokyo

BFC was delighted to welcome Evans “Gitahi” Kunyuga back to Tokyo on November 30, 2025. Unfortunately, his packed schedule across Japan meant he couldn’t join us on the field. After a few days of marketing activities in Okinawa, Evans returned to Tokyo just in time to drop by during the futsal session, bringing his trademark energy and enthusiasm to the team off the pitch.

Reminiscing at Ebisu and Sampling Kenyan Rum

After the futsal session—and a quick shower for some—we headed to Footnik Ebisu to catch up with Evans while waiting for the EPL match to kick off. Better late than never, Brian arrived, setting the stage for an emotional reunion between our passionate captain and his midfield maestro.
Evans was at pains all night saying he was not bald, even buying a t-shirt to emphasize the point...
Koru Rum, all the way from Kenya.
Watching Man U get pummeled by Palace whilst enjoying Koru Rum. Shout out to Ebisu Footnik management who allowed us to celebrate this delicious craft spirit in Japan for the first time.

It was a fantastic evening all around, capped off with Evans and Pabs venturing to a quirky rum bar in Hatagaya to wrap up the night.
