After weeks of surging momentum and statement performances, BFC Tokyo’s winning run finally came to an abrupt halt at the hands of a sharp and disciplined VJ Bridge FC, who claimed a 3–1 victory and brought BFC back down to earth.

The match began at a high tempo, but it was VJ Bridge who struck first, taking advantage of early pressure to put BFC on the back foot. Things worsened for the visitors when VJB doubled the lead, leaving BFC scrambling to reorganize. Tokyo pushed forward, but space behind them opened up — and Thac Ngoc Tran made them pay, firing in the third to give the home side a commanding cushion.

To their credit, BFC didn’t fold. Emil pulled one back with a composed finish, injecting a spark of hope into the side’s late push. But despite a spirited final spell, the deficit proved too steep to overturn, and VJ Bridge closed out the match with calm professionalism.

For BFC Tokyo, this was a reminder that even the most confident runs can falter. After emphatic wins earlier in the month — including the avenging triumph over Kilimanjaro and a dominant display at Nagasawa — this defeat serves as both a setback and a motivator as they look to reset and respond in the fixtures ahead.

BFC’s streak may have ended, but their fight certainly hasn’t.
