With temperatures soaring and little respite from the summer heat, both teams faced a demanding afternoon that tested fitness and concentration as much as footballing ability.

BFC Masters enjoyed spells of possession and looked to move the ball quickly through midfield, but Albion’s compact defensive shape limited the space available in dangerous areas. Despite some promising build-up play, clear-cut opportunities proved difficult to create and BFC failed to register a shot on target.

In a second match, a friendly versus the Celts, that elusive goal came a bit too late. Will’s speculative effort from distance somehow ended up in the net. BFC played with a bit more freedom in the 2nd game and Pabs doubled the lead.

Late on, Stevie grabbed the third to leave the result BFC Masters 3 – 0 Celts Masters.
